South Suburban Adult Hockey League (SSAHL) is a co-ed and women's, no check, recreational league, with multiple divisions from beginner to advanced.

Players who are 18+ of age before registering and playing a game.

Fall/Winter season:
$479 - Early Registration Skater Fee
$499 - Regular Registration Skater Fee
Summer season:
$225 - Early Registration Skater Fee
$245 - Regular Registration Skater Fee
Goalies do not pay a player's fee.
$25 Non-Resident Fee once per season for SSPRD Non-Residents.

Getting Started
If you're new to Crossbar, you will be asked to set up an account with a user name and password.
Returning Team (Captain)
- Returning teams from the prior season that are in good standing will receive preference
- Captain (if you're a goalie, select a Co-Captain): Register and pay the FULL non-refundable Season Fee during the Early or Regular Registration time frame
- Captain: notify players of intent to complete FULL TEAM fully paid early registration to qualify for 90 minute Incentive Ice
- Ice Office: as players register, we will roster players to your team page and designate you as Team Staff for managing your Team Page.
- Captain: The team roster requirement is a minimum of 15 paid skaters and 1 goalie to a maximum of 19 paid skaters and multiple goalies. If team carries less than 15 fully paid skaters, the team will be required to make up the monetary difference.
NEW TEAM (Captain)
- Captain: Contact the Adult Hockey League Coordinator PeterH@ssprd.org for acceptance into SSAHL.
- Captain (if you're a goalie, select a Co-Captain): Once accepted, register and pay the FULL non-refundable season fee during the Early or Regular Registration time frame.
- Captain: notify players of intent to complete FULL TEAM fully paid (no payment plans) early registration to qualify for 90 minute Incentive Ice.
- Ice Office: as players register, we will roster players to your team page and designate you as Team Staff for managing your Team Page.

NEW Player - D3/D4/D5 Level
- Skater & Goalie: Captain needs to submit your answers to screening questions to Adult Hockey League Coordinator PeterH@ssprd.org for approval
- Skater & Goalie: Once approved, follow steps under "RETURNING PLAYER"

Free Agent Application Process
- APPLICANT: Complete the SSAHL Free Agent Application by clicking on the button below
- CAPTAIN(S) NEEDING ADDITIONAL PLAYERS: Request list of Free Agents from Ice Office
- ICE OFFICE: Provide Free Agent list from appropriate division (per self-reported information) to Captain(s) requesting Free Agent list
- CAPTAIN: Reach out to Free Agent(s) to find a match
- APPLICANT: Accept or turn down offer to join SSAHL team
- APPLICANT: If you accept offer, register for the current SSAHL Season under that team name
- APPLICANT: If you turn down offer or no offer is extended for the current season, complete the Free Agent Application for the next season when it becomes available.

Important Dates and Deadlines
July 15 - September 1: Non-refundable FULL Registration Fee due under the Captain’s registration account (if goalie, Co-Captain's) to be considered for a team’s possible placement on the schedule. If there is not enough space for the potential team, the fee will be refunded.
August 15: EARLY player registration deadline (Discounted rate and 90-minute Incentive Ice for fully paid teams)
September 1: REGULAR player registration deadline
September 26: Fall/Winter Season begins; Some divisions may start later
November 1: Rosters are frozen; Exceptions are available to replace players with injuries, job transfers, etc. Contact PeterH@ssprd.org for approval. Captains need to submit any proposed roster additions or changes 3 days BEFORE any player is playing.
December 1: Remaining payment processed with 2 payment plan
